According to the reaction equation, 1 mol of CO2 is formed per 1 mol of CH4, therefore:
v (CO2) = v (CH4) = 2.5 (mol).
Thus, the volume of emitted carbon dioxide, measured under normal conditions (n.o.):
V (CO2) = v (CO2) * Vm = 2.5 * 22.4 = 56 (l).
