When and by whom of the Russian explorers was Northwest America discovered?

In 1732, navigator Ivan Fedorov and geodesist Mikhail Gvozdev arrived on the shores of the western cape of America (today the Cape of the Prince of Wales). After this expedition, the shores of the Bering Strait appeared on the map.
Bering headed towards America in 1741, as a result the expedition was wrecked near the Commander Islands. On one of the islands, the team faced a cold winter, diseases and many people died, including Captain Bering. In the spring, some of the team members who survived returned to their homeland. Thus ended the second expedition to the northwest of America.
