When and for what reasons did medieval heresies arise? Who fought them and how?

The so-called heresies arose in Europe due to the fact that people did not agree with the order that reigned in the Catholic Church. The ideological inspirers of such movements criticized church officials for charging fees for church services and for leading the wrong way of life. This jeopardized the authority of the Pope, who in every possible way tried to eradicate heresy. Crusades were organized, wars were fought in European countries. The ideological inspirers of heretical movements were seized and executed.
