Russian troops led by Alexander Yaroslavich did not interfere with the evacuation of the remnants of the Swedish troops from the battlefield. The fact that the Russian troops won a victory made it possible to disrupt the plans for the further passage of the Swedes to Ladoga and Novgorod. For victory and courage, Alexander Yaroslavich received the honorary nickname “Nevsky”.
