When did the Entente and the Triple Alliance come into being?

The Triple Alliance is a military-political bloc of Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy. It was formed on May 20, 1882, when these three countries signed a secret union treaty for a period of 5 years. Disbanded after the London Pact, concluded in 1915. It was an agreement between the Entente countries and Italy, according to which Italy entered the First World War on their side. Afterwards, two participants in the war joined Germany and Austria-Hungary at once: the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. This is how the Quarter Alliance was formed.

The Entente is a similar bloc on the part of Great Britain, Russia and France. It was created, first of all, as a counterbalance to the Triple Alliance. Formed for several years:

1. 1891-1894 – an alliance between France and Russia is formed.

2. 1904 – an agreement was signed between England and France.

3. 1907 – an agreement was signed between England and Russia. The Entente is finally formed
