So, if the angles are not equal, then they are adjacent. And we know that the sum of adjacent angles is 180 °.

Enter the coefficient of similarity x and write down the degree measure of the angles as 7x and 3x.

We get the following equation:

7x + 3x = 180;

10x = 180;

x = 180: 10;

x = 18.

We have found the coefficient of similarity and now we can find the degree measure of the angles:

7 * 18 = 126 ° and 3 * 18 = 54 °.
