Where are marine air masses formed, and where are continental ones? Which of them (sea or continental) bring mostly cloudy and rainy weather, and which – dry and clear?
Continental air is formed on the continents. And sea – over sea surfaces (seas, oceans). Marine bring warming, precipitation and cloudiness. And continental ones dry up the air and sharply change it towards warmth (if the character of the masses is tropical), or towards cooling (if the character is arctic).
