Where are the African Great Rifts?

They are found in the eastern part of this hot continent. It is worth knowing that they are also known under a different name. The second name of the faults is the East African Rift Valley. This name was coined in the nineteenth century. The width of this valley in some places reaches one hundred kilometers. Scientists believe that in about four million years, this valley will separate from the continent itself and become an island.
