Where are the flexor muscles?

If we look at our hands, we will not see a thick layer of muscle on our fingers. The muscles that flex and extend the fingers are located on the front of the forearm. The fact is that the hands are a vulnerable part of our body. If the muscles were on the fingers, then they would succumb to various injuries. This could lead to weakness or inability to flexion and extensor function. Some muscles are in principle rudimentary. On the forearm is the long palmar muscle, which is no longer needed in the body.
