Where are the ovules from which the seed of angiosperms develops?

The ovules are found in the flower of the plant. Seed and fruit formation occurs from the ovary of the pistil, which has been fertilized with pollen from the stamen. If the stamen of the same tree fertilizes its own pistil, then this is called self-pollination. The DNA of the parent organism and the offspring will be identical. Changes can only occur with mutations. With cross-pollination, pollen is transferred from the flower of one plant to the flower of another plant. This is a more progressive method of pollination, as it is a combination of genes.
