Where are the sieve tubes located?

Sieve tubes are wired tissues (more precisely, phloem). They are located in vascular fibrous bundles (leaf veins), pass through the stem (where exactly depends on the type of stela) and the central cylinder of the root. Their function is to carry organic matter.
