In the mountains of Southern Siberia, the steppes are widespread by pits located in:
Altai;
Transbaikalia;
Tuvinsky;
Minusinsky;
Kuznetsky.
The steppe in the mountains has hills, ravines, the surface is not even. There are practically no bushes and trees. There is a lot of grass in the steppe, and therefore, various animals graze there, for example, wild goats, sheep and deer.
