Where can free-living flatworms be found in nature?

Flatworms can be found in fresh water. Milky-white poly-eyed and black poly-eyed ones live here. These representatives react very negatively to the pollution of water bodies and act as excellent bioindicators. In the southern waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans, flatworms of the order of polycadids are found. They prefer to settle on the outer slopes of coral reefs.
