Where did Alexander the Great begin and end the campaign?

Alexander the Great began his trek eastward in 334 BC. from the passage of the strait between Europe and Asia. After that, he proceeded to conquer the territory of the Achaemenid state from Asia Minor, after which he moved to Arabia and Egypt and headed further east. With the conquest of the original Persian territories, the Achaemenid kingdom fell, but Alexander decided not to stop there.
