The Finno-Ugric tribes lived on the territory of: western Siberia, in the central, eastern and northern parts of Europe. The climatic conditions in these regions were quite harsh, which affected the economy of the Fino-Ugric tribes. They were mainly engaged in hunting. The ancient Fino-Ugrians were pagan tribes and believed in spirits, fairy creatures and gods.
