Where did the first people appear? What made them develop new lands?

The first people appeared about 5 million years ago. They lived in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, in the Himalayas. At first, people settled the territories along the oceans, the glacier prevented them from going further. When the glaciers melted, people developed more vast territories in Europe and the East. The main occupation of the first people was hunting for mammoths and other predators, they also dug up roots, tree fruits and other edible gifts of nature. People mastered new lands to escape from predators, diseases, in search of food.
