Where did the name of the country Egypt come from?

The ancient name of Egypt is Kemet, which means Black Land. This is how the Egyptians called their ancient country. The ancient Greeks also called the country of the Egyptians – Aegyptus. This is where the name Egypt comes from. We can say that at one time the Greeks gave a name to everything that we know about the ancient world.
