Where did the Vikings go?

Vikings sailed to: England, France, the Baltic States, Iceland, Greenland, and even North America. The period of vigorous activity of the Vikings falls on the 9-11th century. So, due to the harsh living conditions in Scandinavia, the Vikings were often forced to go on military sea voyages to other lands, where they could seize rich prey. Very soon the fame of the formidable northern warriors who appear from the sea spread throughout Europe. We can say that then many coastal cities were in fear due to the constant raids of the Vikings.
