Where do green unicellular algae live?

Green unicellular algae belong to the sub-kingdom of lower plants, since these plants do not have differentiation of the body into separate organs, but are a fused thallus or thallus. Since these algae are very small in size, this allows them to inhabit all parts of the world. Green algae can inhabit: 1) freshwater reservoirs, 2) salt water reservoirs (seas, oceans), 3) swamps, 4) can be attached to the surfaces of rocks, trees, 5) can be found in aquariums, 6) damp , dark places.
