Where do horsetails, moss and ferns live?

Horsetails, moss and ferns grow most often in humid places. Doesn’t require a lot of sunlight. These are the descendants of ancient plants that formed coal deposits. Horsetails can grow in fields, forests, prefer swampy places. Plauns grow in pine forests. Modern lyes and horsetails are small perennials. Ferns growing in the humid tropics can reach large sizes, there are tree-like species. There are also ferns that grow in the water, on the trunks and branches of trees.
