Where do you see the connection between fear and horror and war?

For representatives of the authorities, war is an opportunity to conquer new lands, but they do not fight themselves, but send peaceful people to war.
For a peaceful person, the fear of war is understandable. War is death and hunger. People are afraid not only for their own lives, but for the lives of their loved ones. They know for sure that after the war everything will change, there will be no bright future, there will be devastation. Everything will have to be rebuilt. And cities and their own lives. War does not change people for the best. The death of others is behind heroism.
