Censorship was softened, it became allowed to print literary works of those authors who could not be published under Stalin. Under Khrushchev, it was also forbidden to criticize the actors in power (for which they were subjected to repression), but at the same time it was allowed to speak out sharply about the period of Stalin’s rule.
