People are actively using plant substances in many areas of our lives. A significant number of plants are used as food products: vegetables, roots, cereals. Separately used starch contained in plants, as well as pectin, agar-agar, rubber. All spices, except table salt, are obtained from plants: coriander, paprika, pepper. Plants such as flax, cotton and hemp have found their place in the industry. They have become a source of strong, inexpensive fabrics. Of course, we get paper from plants – thanks to plant cellulose.
