Where does Euglena green live?

Euglena green belongs to the protist species of the type Euglenozoa. This organism is a single-celled animal. The color is due to the presence of a significant amount of chloroplasts in the cytoplasm of the animal. The habitat of green euglena is: 1) freshwater stagnant reservoirs, 2) swamps, 3) ditches, 4) puddles. Sometimes, when there is a strong increase in the number of euglena, the water turns bright green, in which case this phenomenon is called “bloom” of water.
