Where is Ancient Greece?

Ancient Greece occupied a much larger territory than the modern country of the same name. Greek policies were spread throughout the Balkan Peninsula and in the north reached Macedonia. They also ended up on the territory of modern Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece itself, as well as the adjacent islands. In addition, the Greeks established colonies outside their territories and established policies over a vast area from the Crimea in the north to Egypt in the south. In the east, they reached Asia Minor, and in the west, to Gibraltar.
