Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece. Its height is about 2917 m. The mountain is located in the northeast of Thessaly. In ancient times, the mountain was the border between Thessaly and Macedonia. In mythology, Mount Olympus was the haven of the gods, led by Zeus himself.
