Where is the heart center located?

The center of cardiac activity is the heart. It acts as a “pump” that pumps blood through the human body. With blood, nutrients and oxygen enter all internal organs and tissues. The human heart is four-chambered. It is located in the chest on the left side closer to the center. It works constantly with short interruptions of several milliseconds. Under stress, the body’s need for oxygen is greater, therefore, we not only breathe in air more often, but also the heart begins to beat faster.
