Where is the light-sensitive cell located?

The light-sensitive cell, otherwise called the ganglion cell, is located in the retina of the eye. The ganglion cell is a nerve cell. Light-sensitive cells are typical bipolar neurocytes, their dendrites are directed outward, towards the pigment epithelium. Light-sensitive cells are cells that form groups of nerve tissues in the body called ganglia. These cells have the ability to generate nerve impulses.
