Where is the primary auditory cortex located? in the parietal region in the central region in the occipital region in the auditory tubercles of the midbrain in the frontal region in the temporal region.

The primary auditory area is located in the temporal lobe. It is directly dependent on receptors that respond to waves and sound vibrations. Information is transmitted to the central nervous system by neurons located on the skin and in the auditory organs. The neurons of the auditory zone can be of two types

1) is excited when signals are received from the ear, which is located on the opposite side;

2) are activated by signals from the ear, which is on the same side.
