Where was ancient Egypt located?

Ancient Egypt was located in North Africa in the Nile River Valley. The country’s prosperity was closely associated with the flooding of the Nile, which occurred from June to November. Thanks to the fertile silt, the main occupation of the Egyptians was agriculture. Pharaoh was at the head of the Egyptian state. It was believed that if he led a righteous life, the people received salvation in the afterlife. Therefore, great attention has always been paid to the bodies of the deceased pharaohs.
