Whether or not life is possible on Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the Sun, and why.

Life as we imagine it (protein bodies) cannot exist:

a) on Mercury, because there is no atmosphere and therefore temperature fluctuations from -173 to 427 degrees Celsius;

b) on Venus, because its atmosphere contains caustic substances (sulfuric acid, etc.) that will destroy any protein, and high temperature (464 degrees);

c) on gas giant planets like Jupiter, which do not have a solid surface, but consist of a chemically aggressive atmosphere;

d) on the stars, including the Sun, because even the temperature at the surface reaches thousands of degrees, at which any form of life (even the simplest) is impossible.

Hypothetically, life can exist on Mars, because it has an atmosphere, it has a surface, it even has a small amount of water.
