Triple Alliance. Initially, since 1882, it included the following European participating countries: Germany with Austria-Hungary as the main organizers, as well as Italy. The first 2 indicated countries participated side by side in the world war until its very end. In turn, Italy went over in 1915 to the side of the states that were members of the Entente. Then 2 more countries joined the union, which led to the formation of the Quadruple Union. These new participants in the international conflict were Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire.
