It was the ancient king of Hammurabi. He ruled Babylon in the 18th century BC. It was he who created the ancient written lawyer “Code of Hammurabi”. This code consisted of 282 laws. He was the first ancient written legalist who could survive to our time. Hammurabi ordered the laws to be carved in stone. Thanks to this, in our time, we were able to study such an ancient artifact.
