Which bacteria contain chlorophyll?

These are phototrophic bacteria. They use the energy of sunlight and some inorganic substances to generate energy. Energy is obtained during the course of photosynthesis. But unlike plants, bacteria do not release free oxygen as a by-product of the reaction during photosynthesis. Also, there are cyanobacteria that have chlorophyll pigment and get their energy through photosynthesis. But they are able to release oxygen during a biochemical reaction. These bacteria have lived on our planet for billions of years.
