Which countries did Galileo Galilei visit?

Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa, in the family of a musician, lived in Italy. From 1572 he lived in Florence, and from 1581 he studied medicine at the University of Pisa, but due to his financial situation he was forced to return to Florence. After the death of his father, he was forced to look for a new job due to extreme poverty, and in 1592 he got a job at the Department of Mathematics in Padua (Venetian Republic), where he spent 18 years of his life. In 1611 he went to Rome, where he was placed in a scientific academy. In Rome, he was sentenced to imprisonment for the rest of his life, but then the punishment was changed to arrest at home, in the Arcetri estate, near Florence, where he lived until his death, in 1642. Before his death in 1638, he published in Holland his newly written book Conversations and Mathematical Proofs.
