Which countries of the Ottoman Empire gained independence?

During hostilities in 1917-18 in the Middle East. Great Britain and France seized the territories of Lebanon and Syria (ceded to France), Jordan, Iraq, Palestine (ceded to Great Britain). In the western and southern parts of the Arabian Peninsula, with the military and political support of Great Britain, Arab tribes who fought against the Ottoman Empire gained independence. Independent states were formed: Yemen, Nejd, Asir and Hijas.
