Which countries were included in the Assyrian state?

At one time, Assyria was a very powerful state with a strong army. It arose around 2 thousand BC, but this state reached its greatest flourishing in the 9-7 century BC. During this period, Assyria was able to conquer most of its neighbors and turn into an empire. Among the countries and peoples that were subordinate to Assyria were: Babylon, Syria, Phenicia, Palestine, Egypt, etc. The collapse of the Assyrian Empire occurred through the revolt of the conquered peoples, initiated by the Babylonians and Medes.
