Which Greek colony was founded on the Crimean peninsula?

In the 7th-6th centuries BC, the mass colonization of the Northern Black Sea region and Crimea by the Greeks began.

On the coast of Crimea, the city-states (policies) of Feodosia, Kerkinitida (now Evpatoria) were founded.

The largest were considered the Tauric Chersonesos and Panticapaeum. Panticapaeum eventually became the centers of the Bosporus kingdom. Its rulers were so influential that they even entered into confrontation with Rome.

Other small Greek colonies of the Crimea were ruled from Panticopeia. The administrative center of the city was located on Mount Mithridates. The colony existed until the 3rd century AD, and was destroyed by the Ostrogoths.
