Which islands did the Normans reach in the 10-11 centuries?

The Normans are considered the first Europeans to reach the northeastern shores of North America. Between 981 and 983, they sailed to the coast of Greenland and then reached the island of Newfoundland.
Their discovery was ignored, since European countries were not informed and did not take this fact seriously. As a result, this continent remained unknown until 1492, when Christopher Columbus discovered it in search of a sea route to India, although the Vikings had traded with the local population for several centuries.
