Which ocean has the most seas?

The Pacific Ocean, a giant among the earth’s oceans, has the largest number of inland seas. In total, there are 28 seas in the Pacific Ocean, 5 of which, located off the coast of Antarctica, are considered by some experts to be in the Southern Ocean. Inside the Pacific Ocean there are gigantic seas and dwarf seas. For example, the area of the Philippine Sea is 5726 thousand km2, while the area of the Sulawesi Sea is only 453 thousand km2. The second place in the number of seas is occupied by the Atlantic Ocean – 23 inland seas.
