Which of the battles of World War II do you consider the largest and most significant for victory?

I consider the Battle of Stalingrad to be the largest and most significant battle of the Second World War. The losses on both sides amounted to about one million people. This event was grandiose in terms of timing. The battle lasted from June 1942 to February 1943. The importance of this event lies in the fact that from the moment of victory in the battle, the USSR began offensive actions, instead of retreating and defensive ones. In addition, the troops of Nazi Germany were significantly weakened by this battle and lost faith in their invincibility and Hitler’s infallibility. It was a turning point in the war.
