Landforms generated by wind are called aeolian landforms. Aeolian landforms can be either positive or negative. The positive ones include dunes, dunes, aeolian outliers, and sandy ramparts. And niches, cellular surfaces, canyons are negative landforms formed by the wind. These negative landforms are formed as a result of areal / furrow deflation (blowing out dust particles and grains of sand from the rock) or as a result of corrosion (grinding of the rock with transported grains of sand).
