Which organ is mainly involved in photosynthesis?

In a plant, photosynthesis can take place in any green cell, but the main organ of this process is the leaf. It is ideally suited for photosynthesis:
– the skin is transparent to allow light to pass through;
– stomata are located in the lower skin for gas exchange and water evaporation;
– the pulp is formed by photosynthetic tissue, in the cells of which there are chloroplasts with chlorophyll;
– the veins are the conducting system of the leaf, the necessary water flows through the xylem, and the formed organic matter flows through the phloem.
