According to legend, Rome was founded by two brothers, Ram and Romulus, it happened in 753 BC. Romulus became the first emperor of Rome, after he killed his own brother during the conflict.
The city is located on these seven hills: Palatine, Celius, Aventine, Viminal, Capitol, Quirinal and Esquiline. There were settlements on these hills, which later united and laid the foundation for Rome.
