Who has a cell membrane, a human or a frog?

The cell (or cytoplasmic) membrane is an essential component of any living cell, from archaea and bacteria to mammals. It is the membrane that separates the cellular contents from the environment, allowing the cell to exchange substances with it. It is formed from the bilipid layer, as well as proteins (which can be on the surface of the membrane or pass through it) and carbohydrates (glycocalyx), which perform a receptor function.

Accordingly, both the frog and the human have a cell membrane.
