Who is the causative agent of scabies?

Scabies is a disease caused by the scabies mite. It belongs to the animal kingdom, a type of arthropod. The mite invades the skin and causes severe itching and rashes. Sometimes the rash may fester. Most often this happens due to the fact that a person is combing it due to itching. Other bacteria enter the wounds and the rash begins to fester. Basically, the disease is transmitted through the contact of a sick person with a healthy one. The tick needs no more than 30 minutes to penetrate the skin. The disease is often transmitted through sexual contact.
