Who participated in the Seventh Crusade?

The Seventh Crusade began in 1248. The campaign was initiated by King Louis IX of France. The crusaders did not take into account the natural conditions, they did not expect the Nile to flood. The water isolated the crusaders for almost six months. Their fighting spirit was dampened. The Crusaders were defeated on the Nile River in 1254.
