Who was the leader of the Greeks in the Trojan War?

Almost all the Greek kingdoms went to war with Troy. The king of Mycenae Agamemnon became the leader of the united army. The ruler of Mycenae was the brother of King Menelaus from whom Paris had kidnapped a beautiful wife. The army of Achaeans besieged Troy for nine years, but the walls of the city reliably protected the inhabitants from enemies. Then the king of Ithaca Odysseus came up with a cunning way to take over the city. The Achaeans made a huge wooden horse and the best Greek warriors entered. The Greeks presented a wooden horse as a gift to the inhabitants of Troy. So a detachment of Greeks ended up in the city. Having interrupted the guards, the Greeks opened the gates of the city. Troy was burned and Agamemnon with rich booty went to his native shores. On the way to Greece, King Agamemnon was killed.
