Who were the enemies of Pericles and why?

Pericles was an Athenian statesman, one of those who helped “flourish” Athenian democracy, was a brilliant orator and a good military leader. In 463 BC. e. participated in the trial against Kimon, Pericles acted as the prosecutor. Because of this, Pericles will forever become the enemy of Cimon. Ephialtes, who accepted the reform of the Areopagus, becomes an enemy of Pericles and soon dies. Pericles did not like Sparta and acted, in foreign policy, against this state, thereby making strong enemies for himself. The famous enemy of Pericles, with whom they constantly had verbal skirmishes, is Thucydides.
