Why are bacteria everywhere?

Bacteria are some of the smallest living organisms on Earth. They consist of one cell and are relatively primitive in structure. They are prokaryotes – organisms that do not have a formed nucleus and membrane organelles. Yet bacteria are common across the globe. This is due to the fact that bacteria are resistant to different habitats, they are very changeable and constantly mutate in order to survive. Bacteria have relatively simple genetic material, which allows them to easily change and adapt to life.
